The 404 Report

We checked the link. Here’s what’s actually there.

Government pages that are supposed to carry public records sometimes load broken, empty, or years out of date. We check them the way anyone else would, by clicking. Below is what we found, what the page is supposed to show, and when we last checked. This isn’t an accusation, it’s a punch list, and fixing a broken or empty page costs nothing.

The Senate’s own Voting Records page shows one vote. From 2023.

senate.gov.lr/votes/ is the Liberian Senate’s dedicated page for publishing how senators vote on legislation. As of September 29, 2026, the page loads without error and shows exactly one record: a February 23, 2023 vote confirming 33 Armed Forces of Liberia officers, 22 in favor, 0 opposed.

Nothing from 2024, 2025, or 2026 appears, and the page’s own last-modified date is August 12, 2024. This page isn’t dead, it works, and it’s built to hold this exact kind of record. It’s just missing the thing it exists to publish.

MFDP’s own “most recent reports” page is missing MFDP’s most recent reports

mfdp.gov.lr/index.php/docs/most-recent-reports is the ministry’s long-standing index of newly published documents. As of September 29, 2026, the newest items it lists are three FY2025 third-quarter reports and the FY2026 draft budget.

By that date, the ministry’s own newly relaunched site, mfdp.gov.lr/reports, already had six FY2026 quarterly reports posted: two Budget Performance Reports, two Fiscal Outturn Reports, and two Consolidated Financial Statements. None of them appear on the older index page, even though it’s still live and still labeled as the most recent reports.

What would close this

The index updated to include what already exists on the ministry’s new site, or retired in favor of one source of truth.

We add to this list as we find things during our regular source checks, not on a fixed schedule. When a page gets fixed, it’s marked resolved here with the date, not deleted, so the record of what was broken and for how long stays intact.
