Seen a document, a receipt, or a project that never got built?

Send it. A photo of a notice board, a contract page, a payment slip, or just what you were told and by whom. Nothing you send is published as fact. It goes into a separate queue and is only ever shown as confirmed once it matches a primary record.

No one person can check a $1.2 billion budget. Enough people checking the same numbers can.

What we do not collect

No name is required. Leave it blank and the submission still counts.
No phone number, unless you want us to be able to reach you.
No account, no login, no password.
We do not ask for your location, and we do not publish which county a submission came from unless the submission itself is about that county.

What happens next

  1. It enters the unverified queue, labelled as a public submission.
  2. We look for a primary document that confirms or contradicts it.
  3. If a document confirms it, it becomes a confirmed finding with that document attached. If no document exists, it becomes an open case in the Gap Tracker with the request already drafted.
  4. If it cannot be checked at all, it stays unverified, visibly separate, and never presented as fact.

Other ways to help

Send a request from the Gap Tracker and forward the reply. Share a case with a journalist or a radio host. Or tell us about a record you know exists that this site is missing.
